Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing looks to be a much better game.
The beta for LBPK was average. the score for the full game is surprisingly good considering the beta.
Damn you theSource, I preordered a deluxe set early from them in Canada and they called me last week saying that they are expecting a shortage and that the item might be shipped by Nov 30th or even later than that and may be after Christmas....DAMN! never again ordering anything from them :<
Unbelievably relaxing and uplifting, feels like an amalgamation of many Nintendo trademarked tunes, lullabies and musical ambiances honed to perfection. Very impressive indeed.
The beta for LBPK was mediocre at best, can't judge the whole game though. But if the beta reflected the quality of the whole experience, I am not surprised by the score.
I had the opportunity to attend a Video Games Live event in Winnipeg when I was living there about two years ago, and it was an amazing and unforgettable experience, I strongly recommend it to anyone, gamer or not.
LOL @ the instant disagree ! I've never lol'ed to something so trivial.
I remember playing it on my GoldStar 3DO, it was an excellent platformer with an unlikely protagonist, funny one-liners and quirky atmosphere, fond memories indeed....damn I'm getting really old now...
Unforgettable, timeless classic, at the top of my most wanted Nintendo franchises on the Wii U along with Wave Race and Star Fox.
Excellent article, very good read.
I am an old gamer too, 33 years old to be exact, but I still enjoy Pokemon games to this day. I believe you might like these games if you seriously try them and invest time and effort, especially if you like RPGs in general.
More games for Vita is a good thing, but, the two games the article is talking about are not that interesting, while EDF 2017 is a mediocre game at best, Rainbow Moon is a good game, but it's already on Ps3(I've personally played and liked it), the Vita needs more games especially those that are built around the uniqueness of a handheld system and not ports from Ps3.
@YongPlex, I agree !
@TongkatAli, a blind fanboy is a blind fanboy, and it's some...
I don't want Sony to go away, actually, I want them to prosper and keep providing great video game experiences.
It is the Sony-Fanboys who really need to go away, because they've poisoned the video gaming community more than any group within that community.
Please make this game in collaboration with Nintendo on the Wii U, and that can be the closest we might ever get to resurrecting the holy alliance that was between Rare and Nintendo and all the great games and fond memories associated with that alliance.
Kudos to General Kaos for his positive attitude and respectful manners.
And by the way, Heavenly Sword was a rather mediocre game.
Birdo?....??
More good news for Nintendo, the wait for Wii U is proving to be unbearable.
Judging by analogy, the Xbox 360, Wii, Gamecube, Ps2, Ps1, Saturn and Dreamcast, all have lost it according to the title!!
I couldn't care less about Wii U being region locked, if they continue to localize JRPGs as they did with Xenoblade and The Last Story I should be satisfied.
What I've been struggling with lately, is the Vita limiting me to one account per console and it is really annoying since I have bought many PSN games using different account...
I'll definitely download this as soon as it hits eShop, I love all things shmup. I was addicted to stardust and geometry wars before it, and this looks to expand on the fun and visuals.
At least it will definitely be better than heavenly sword.
Totally agree with you StraightPath. They defend a lazy port of a game they bash all the time on consoles, only because this port is exclusive for a Sony handheld, some of them even do NOT own a friggin' Vita in the first place!!
